On November 27, 2007, Hangzhou Boiler Group signed a purchase contract of 3 tunnel shields valuing at RMB 100 million with Hongrun Construction company. These 3 tunnel shields, which will be labeled with the logo of Hangzhou Boiler Group, will be delivered to Hongrun in 2008 for the Hangzhou subway project.

 On October 9, 2007, the first batch of 162 sets of sliding doors and 32 sets of door frames, which were packed in three containers as the platform screen door components, were shipped to Hongkong for its subway construction project. Hence, Xizi Trust became the first company in Zhejiang to have the capability of manufacturing platform screen door sets, as well as the first private company in mainland China to participate in the Hongkong platform screen door project.

 Approved by the Ministry of Commerce, Hangzhou Boiler Group was restructured to become a joint-stock limited liability company. The founding conference of Hangzhou Boiler Group Co., Ltd. was successfully held in September, 2007, and the registration procedures had been officially completed by September 30, 2007.

 On September 28, 2007, the opening ceremony of Xizi Research Institute Academician Workstation was held. Mr. Lou Jianren, director of Hangzhou Municipal Science & Technology Bureau, presided the ceremony. Xizi UHC Chairman Wang Shuifu and Mr. Hao Zhiyi, deputy director of Hangzhou Municipal Economy Committee, unveiled the academician workstation board. The two academicians appointed are professor Lin Zonghu, from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Boiler of Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Professor V. Filatov, Vice-President of Russian Engineering Academy.

 In the afternoon of July 28th, CPC General Secretary Hu Jintao visited the Xizi Otis Elevator Co., Ltd. He showed a great interest in the innovative energy-saving products, especially the energy-regenerative elevators. During the talk with Mr. Wang Shuifu, board chairman of Xizi UHC, Mr. Chen Xiaxin, president of Xizi UHC, Mr. Zheng Peiming, president of Xizi Otis, and the company’s R&D personnel, Mr. Hu praised highly for Xizi UHC’s practices of energy saving in product design and manufacturing. He emphasized that we should achieve our goal of energy conservation, emission reduction and sustainable development by actively developing and widely deploying technologies that can save energy and use recyclable resources.

 On July 21, 2007, around 130 people from the Xizi UHC management attended the “Share Dream, Share Growth” conference in Lijiang, Yunnan province. On the conference the development goal of RMB 30 billion in sales revenue was set to be met within 5 years from Xizi’s major five economic circles of elevator, boiler, real estate, finance, and general merchandise.

 On June 29, 2007, Chairman Wang Shuifu attended the 2007 World Forum of Enterprise Social Responsibility in China, which was co-held by the UN development bureau and the Chinese enterprise union, and gave a theme speech on the forum.

 From June 7 to June 16, 2007, Chairman Wang Shuifu attended the 96^th World Labor Conference in Geneva, Swiss, as the first Chinese entrepreneur of a private company being invited.

 In February 2007, Xizi UHC released the first social responsibility report among all Chinese private companies.

 On November 20, 2006, Xizi UHC Chairman Wang Shuifu attended the APEC summit with the China industry and commerce delegation led by CPC General Secretary Hu Jintao.

 On September 18, 2006, Xizi UHC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lvcheng Group to establish Lvcheng-Xizi Real Estate Group.

 On September 6, 2006, Xizi UHC donated RMB 10 million to the Education Fund of Jianggan District.

 In August 2006, Xizi UHC became the biggest share holder of Baida Group.

 In July 2006, the opening ceremony for the new Xizi Otis factory was held in JiangGan Economic Develop Area, Hangzhou.

 In April 2006, high quality cutting wheels for tunnel shield were exported to Japan.

 On March 12, 2006, the environmental-friendly and energy-saving Xizi UHC Mansion started construction.

 March 12, 2006 was the 9-year anniversary of Xizi Otis Elevator Co., Ltd.

July 2005, company semi-annual conference was hold to share group achievements: the sales revenue in the first half year exceeded 2.5 billion RMB and the sales revenue in 2005 is expected to reach 5 billion RMB.
